[Metastockusers] Zero Sum Game?

Surely the notion of whether or not trading is a zero sum game is purely
academic because it would only become relevant if every single player with
a position in the market were to liquidate their positions at the same
time. In this case, we could produce a balance sheet having a net bottom
line of zero, minus commissions and incidental costs, with all gains and
losses being realised. As this scenario is unlikely to occur in the near
future, there is not a 'somebody' who loses fifty dollars for every fifty
that you take off the table. It's purely an intellectual exercise.

This goes out to all of you who are feeling guilty about taking your
profits. Enjoy them!
