<font size=2 color=navy
face=Arial>All,

<font size=2 color=navy
face=Arial>I have MetaStock
7.2 EOD, and I too have never been able to locate a Favourites folder for use in
an Exploration.  I have always
thought it was impossible.

<font size=2 color=navy
face=Arial>

<font size=2 color=navy
face=Arial>When I use
fundamental analysis to do a first cull of available shares, I then choose the
Explorations I want to run, and then at the Select Securities window I choose a
blank list (which I set up years ago), and then I go to the right half of the
Select Securities window and choose the shares I want from the alphabetical
folders.  It&#8217;s a laborious
method, because many of the Securities in each alphabetical folder appear to be
duplicated until you select them, and their symbol appears below, so you can
see if you have the company or its warrant or option.

<font size=2 color=navy
face=Arial>

<font size=2 color=navy
face=Arial>My
questions:  1.<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  Is anybody actually running an
Exploration using the securities in a Favourites folder, or is it a myth?<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  There are no instructions for doing it
in either the manual or Help files that I can see.<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  2. If the Favourites folders ARE indeed available
on the left side of the Select Securities window, where are they hiding?<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  At least 3 of us on this list can&#8217;t
find them.  I use Au-ASX data, and
there is no sign of a Favourites folder around that data.

thanks,

Perhaps this is a
version-based issue - I am running 7.02 EOD. What
