Luke,
I can think of two options.
First, if you use the same template to all your charts is to save the
template as your default template. You can accomplish that by right
clicking on the chart, once you have one chat open with the desired
template, and choosing the option to save the template as your default
template.
Second you can go to your MetaStock choose tools/options/chart options
on change securities you can change the settings to say use chart as
template and check the box keep line studies. In this case every time
you have charts open and you scroll trough your charts the new chart
will come up with the same template as your live chart.

Subject: [EquisMetaStock Group] Newbie needs a hand
New user here, hoping to get somehelp with Metastock.
What I'd like to do is this: I have several templates set up with
combinations of indicators that I like to use together, such as
Bollinger w/RSI and OBV, or CMF w/MACD. I'd like to open one template
and then scroll through all the securities I follow with the template
studies applied. What I'm doing now is opening ea individual chart, then
applying the template by punching up its icon on the custom toolbar.
It's time consuming and I end up with 30 open charts...
