Clearly paying less is good. It all comes down to what they are
offering. Many of the plug-ins have received less than favorable reviews
by list members. Not to look a gift horse in the mouth and count its
teeth (and get beaten by the monks), many software vendors will be
stuck when the next version of MS (MS 10?) is released, assuming the
changes noted here are implemented.
