in Metastock is, unfortunately, costly and/or time

I have manually sorted the groups into the folders by copying the
individual files into their groups, with a separate Warrants and Options
folder. I have still kept the A - Z folders empty so if a new warrant or
stock enters the market, they will by default go into these folders.

How
do you perform option # 1. That is copying the individual files into the
groups. Then how does Metastock Downloader recognize this so it then
updates data in the new folder and not replace the security into an A-Z
folder. Still trying to understand the mechanics on how to do
this. TC2000 has a Composite security in each of its Industry Groups and
I would also like to have acopy of these in both the Industry group as well as
a directory with all of them in it.

I also have the OTS Ezy Station with its downloader that can sort the
Metastock into the CIGS grouping which I find a little
vague.

Equis Downloader you 'traverse all folders' in the options under the
converting tool.
