Hi Juan,
If you are new to the trading world, a good start is "Technical Analysis
from A to Z" by Steve Achiles. It is a good overview of all or most
technical indicators that have been around for some time and will help you
to get to know what technical analysis is all about. When you understand
and try out all the indicators, described in the book, in Metastock, you
will start forming a perspective what makes sense, what seems to work and
most importantly help identify which market theory/theories and indicator/s
you should believe in. Once you have reached this stage, you can narrow
your focus on the ones that you trust and be able to formulate your trading
strategy. A word of caution - it's a fun and equally frustrating journey
but those who can endure the journey with patience and long sustained
efforts, are more than likely rewarded in abundance. The average time it
takes to reap the fruits is around a year. Good luck!
