Agreed. Metalib is COM programming ease for "read" applications.

The other product you introduced, MetaCare Base, won't convert from
proprietary binary formats to Metastock AFAIK. Several european data
suppliers are using proprietary formats w/o Metastock export/update
features, nor DLL/COM that could be used by other TA applications supporting
third party database access plugins. The wide acceptance of Metastock format
(supposed to be dead by end 1999) remains key, so for a develoment kit as
MSFL or Metalib.
