I haven't used Win2000, but I do not like WinXP.  The interface has been
jazzed up and the functionality is poorer. It is more awkward to use simple
things like the windows explorer.  The help system seems a bit less
complete.  XP is much more stable than Win98.

When I installed Win XP I lost all my bookmarks and e-mail files (plus other
stuff that is usually safe when making an upgrade)
