It's not with a tick periodicity, but the $TICK symbols and others ($TICK, $TICKI, $TICKA, $ADD, etc.)
I have discussed this with support and it is a known issue. These indices, that are actually indicators, that give zero or negative values, will not get any real time updates while trading in the negative or at zero, although it can still get the historical data that it missed from eSignal's historical data servers by clicking refresh. They said it should be fixed in 7.22.
