This is not the first time I have received conflicting/wrong information
from them. If someone is in a tech support position, they shouldn't be
guessing at solutions. I fully understand that no one person can know
everything about a product. If they don't know an answer, they should tell
you that, research it with someone who does know the answer, and get back to
you. I can certainly respect somebody for doing that.
As far as my "Goofs" comment goes, I was basing that on this current bad
experience coupled with my attempted upgrade to 7.2 PRO from 7.03 PRO. I've
got 3 copies of 7.2 EOD sitting here because someone at Equis screwed up...3
times. I guess they have a hard time with the letters EOD and PRO. After 10
days (and about 6 phone calls) they finally got it right. I guess I expect
too much from a company who sells $1500 software.
It is good to know that other people have had good experiences with their
tech support. In my case, though, I haven't. From what I have seen here on
the board, it appears as though Lynn from Equis is the most knowledgeable.
The next time I call, I'm going to see if I can request him.

I do not consider the people at Equis goof off's. MetaStock is a complex
program. I have yet to find a program without bugs and limitations.
MetaStock is the best program that I have found to date. We are all subject
to error. I have found Equis Support to be quite good.
I am sorry that you received some wrong information.
