On topic vs. Off topic

With all due respect I disagree. Windows and monitors are not off topic to
me but very much on topic. They are the foundation of my trading. There is
no disrespect intended. It is not a matter of respect. The list should not
be censored. Some topics will appeal to some, others to others.

It does not take long to download short emails. It is easy to delete
messages you are not interested in, if the subject line reflects the email
itself.

agree to disagree, neo

Subject: Request For Respect Of Others Needs

I still work and spend 3 evenings away from the comfort of my office and
computer. I have all of the latest 'toys' at home but I'm forced to use a
laptop and dialup connection when on the road. The modem is 56K but the
connection speed is usually slower.

I would like to request that we use this email list to discuss MetaStock and
reclassify the computer stuff as off limits.

If we do this, I won't have to sit and twiddle my thumbs while I download
all of this nonsense concerning old operating systems like WIN 98 (4 years
old) and this recent barrage of dual monitors. Don't understand the
discussion, I went to a competent supplier, told them what I wanted, they
installed it on an afternoon that was convenient to me and it's worked
without a hitch.

I'm sure that this will offend some but there's 2 sides to every issue....
my side is that I have more valuable things to do with my time and don't
want to download off topic issues just to delete them. It's not just
convenience, it will also save me connect times (cost) in some instances.

Thank you for you support,
John
