Thanks for the emails.

The candle code is very interesting as a way to code into Excel the daily
eod price bar, i.e., using the binary code method.

However, I would change the coding into a standardized six digit
classification number.

It's worth looking at the classification numbers developed by others. In
that established classification numbers relate to the previous eod price
bar, putting the two together can very effective in quantitative analysis.

Histograms become very easy to construct.
