It has always worked fine for me, but here are my thoughs anyway
1. it used to take eSignal 24 hours before the equis bit was fully
distributed to all their servers
2. you can now set the Equis bit yourself in the esignal account
manager. Just go the the account manager on the web site, and select
"add services" (or something like that). Down towards the bottom on the
page there's a field for equis.
