FFT is the Fast Fourier 
Transform for which Metastock provides both a raw and interpreted options in the 
pre-packaged indicator.  When run in the interpretted mode, it generally 
returns the 3 most common cycles found in the spectral analysis.  But, as 
Lionel has pointed out, the largest frequency cycle (the dominant cycle) is 
generally very close to the number of bars on the chart against which the 
indicator is applied.  Those cycle lengths (or 1/2 or 1/4 of those lengths) 
can then be used in other indicators.
