QCharts does indeed cover futures. To verify this, go to www.quote.com and use
the Live Charts feature. Type in SP00Z (those are zeroes), US00Z, or any other
futures symbol using the convention "two letter futures symbol" Zero Zero
"contract month." ES for the EMini and NQ for the NAZ mini. Realtime access is
just a matter of filling out the request information and paying the monthly
exchange fees.
I also echo Don's comments about Interactive Brokers (IB). I've traded with
them since last November, and after almost 300 trades thus far, I've had only
two problems with orders. Both were cleared up very quickly on the phone. (I
trade both the equities and the ES and NQ futures contracts.)
I use the QFeed feature of QCharts, coupled with Dynastore Light, to provide my
realtime data feed to MetaStock. I trade off the MetaStock charts and use the
IB quotes as backup.
