If inserting the CD doesn't work try the following"
1. close and restart Metastock or remove the CD and go to step 2.
2. click on the "Lost CD" button. A number comes up.
3.  send this number to support@xxxxxxxxx (with a few words of explanation)
:) or call tech support.
4. support will eventually send you back a number that you can put in the
window to stop the error message nonsense.  Step 4 may be faster than
calling tech support.
