If you're getting a "Sys Resource Insufficient" message, it means Windows 95 is too low on
GDI or USER resources to start a new process (or app.). When I use Netscape (everyday), I
often run low on user resources. The QP v2.1 programs are also resources hogs (possibly
even leaks). Try to keep the number of programs and TSR's you have running in memory to a
minimum. The sad fact is, Windows 9x has few GDI or USER resources and it is easy to run
low on them.
If I get a warning from Norton System Doctor, which incidentally I received a 3% GDI
resources warning just today, I exit any programs I am not using. If I exit Netscape v4.75
and restart it, it usually frees about 20%.
If you need more help either choosing a computer or removing TSR's, email me.
Daniel.
