<p>What is your decision process you use to determine when to use options
vs. stock?&nbsp; I remember over several years that you are into options.&nbsp;
I trade the options, almost to exclusion of stocks if there are not options
available on them.&nbsp; About the only stock I normally hold is just to
meet the margin requirements for some option spreads I open.&nbsp; So I
would be interested in your thoughts as to when options vs. when stocks.

Equis support's response to the many posts protesting their intention to sell a bug
fix CD instaed of posting it on a Web page is illustrative of a certain mentality.
Like some governmental entity, Equis support tried to end the discussion by
"reminding list posters that this is a forum to share trading ideas." However, it
is difficult to share trading ideas if the software that is testing these ideas
doesn't function as promised. It is instructive to Equis support that the Metastock
community does not like your new policy.

No amount of "reminding posters" will end the debate until an amicable solution is
offered. Generally, people don't watn to gripe. We would rather spend our time
studying the markets than debating the problems of the software we use. It is
unfortunate that the tech industry is the only one that makes others pay for their
own mistakes. If you really wanted to clear up this debate, add a fix in the
software where there are automatic downloads of upgrades and fixes. you already have
such a mechanism in place to update your Reuters Data Base files.

Until then, then don't complain about the civilized and healthy debate!
