I've recently transferred to MetaStock RT 7.0 from
-- well, let's just say a competing EOD product; no
doubt you can guess -- and have gotten set up for
real-time analysis without much trouble. However,
I just went to look at my working layout with the
offline version, and could not get it to come up.
The first error message is "The DAL has not been
created," or words to that effect, followed by a
couple of more obvious variations on "Oops!"
I haven't been able to figure out what is wrong
from the manual or help file. Can anyone tell me
what's going on here and what to do about it?

Many thanks.
