Who would have thought after Friday, that by the end of Monday I would have
14 out of 17 positions in the black? And one of those is only down $8 and
another down $600. My one big loser, that I'll blame my brother for, is
YHOO. I didn't want to buy it the first time around, but he conned me into
it Friday during the day.
Anyway, the bottom line is, we had a good day. Made back everything we lost
on Friday plus a bunch more. I think sticking with those solid companies
like we did has paid off handsomely. We're now up almost 20% on our initial
investment as of the close. Not bad for 2 days. I think Intel's earnings
come out tomorrow and I'm looking for a big bounce. I might add some
Microsoft to the old portfolio. What do you think?
Regards,
Guy
