We don't have a longer term signal. We're traders and have two different
systems that we trade. The first signal is what we call the SP39 and that's
a short term signal. Our other signal is an Intermediate Term Signal. We
have tighter rules for the SP39 when trading against the Intermediate Term
Signal.
Now this trade has both going in the same direction.
I've managed to catch a bug, so I didn't even have the computer on today and
spent the whole day in bed, until it was time to go to my son's orchestra
recital. Nothing like a first year violinist to set your nerves on edge.
I'd like to use my 20-20 hindsight and close out my shorts on the open and
reinstate them on the close, but I didn't. We're still short.

Are you, with this trade, counter to your longer term position? Or is this
the
whole you at this stage?
The really interesting thing now, is how long term this short direction will
remain per your system. Any anticipation? Or do you try to avoid that?
