Re Problem #2: checked my AIQ and MStk data for Easter Friday.
AIQ maintains a list of stock market holidays, and shows:
04/21/00(H) 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0
MStk simply omits the date.
If your ASCII intermediate step shows zeros for that date that would
explain zeros in the your MStk data. If your ASCII omits the date then
that's a puzzle.
Can't help you with the conversion, sorry. I download fron Reuters into
MStk format and convert the other way: MStk >>> ASCII >>> AIQ. It
works but it's such a slow tedious business that I update AIQ only at
weekends. Thinking about getting a macro program to automate the job
while I sleep.
