Hello HHP,

Thank you for your response to my query.

You are correct that in the AIQ Data Manager-Edit Ticker-Data function
Holidays are identified by the Capital letter (H) and the <Open>, <High>,
<Low>, <Close> and <Volume {X100}> fields all display Zero (0). However, when
this data is converted to MetaStock ASCII using AIQ's DTU there are no Dates
or Zeros (0) for the Holidays or for the Weekends displayed in the resulting
ASCII files.

I also sent a correction to the list following the post we are discussing. In
order to Convert AIQ through MetaStock Convert function it was necessary to
first change the cmos date to read the "next" day. Then set the
DownLoader-Convert-Options-Date range-Last date to tomorrow's date and click
"Use today's date". One should remember to reset the cmos date back to
current day's date.

My conclusion, if I have not goofed along the way, is that AIQ and MetaStock
are trying to discourage the transfer of data between these two programs. I
could be mistaken as that has happened once before this year. ;o)

Thanks again for your interest.

Our ISP is associated with the Apache Nation and I lived in the desert with
many cactii to dodge. Therein lies the tale.

Regards,
Bob
