Hello scheier,
99.9% of those over the years i have watched post their supposedly
great trading results have wound up getting money out ignorant,
foolish newbies who are also on the same forum. this type of scam
technique is very common, the guru post his remarkable results (all
without proper independent auditing of course) on the forum. then
the guru sets back like a spider in a web - to catch the private e-mail
inquires from those who wish they were doing as well as the supposed
guru. if a guru wants to really help others, you would see them post
more about the risk associated with trading and how most all,
including the guru's loose all their money.
there is nothing wrong with selling a service - there is something
wrong with presenting ONLY the future profitability side of things
like one CTA has done here. It's against the law, and that law exist
for a valid reason.
If you take the time to read the complaints on the CFTC web site you
will see that time and time again. Hypothetical trades were being
pawned off as real trades that the supposed guru made. All the while
the guru in fact had no such trades in their own personal trading
accounts. Again this type of misrepresentation is against the law.
That's all my point is. Demand evidence and investigate completely
before you send your money to anyone. Have a nice day!
s> It's also a forum to bear witness to others who are making the art of
s> trading work. That's both inspiring and challenging. So I'm wondering what
s> was the point of this post. What are you trying to sell? Me thinks he doth
s> protest too much....
