Hi Murray
Your code looks very interesting. My goodness ... so much to talk about.
Could you add some comments in the middle and last sections to give more
direction about what you are intending to do?
Best regards
Walter

Subject: Re: Sys Test--Summary Report Question
| Hi,
| I use automate to loop files to the system tester then save the file
as
| a text file in C:\Metastock\. I then run this VBA sub to open and move all
| txt files in that folder, and produce an average in sheet1. If you
manually
| save the files, save them as the security name .txt. I tried data
| consolidation in excel but could not get it to loop.
|
| Selection.Consolidate Sources:="'C:\Metastock\[Book1.xls] _
VARIABLENAME!R5C2", _
Function:=xlAverage, _
TopRow:=False, _
LeftColumn:=False, _
CreateLinks:=False
|
|
| You might need to add a few _ where the code looks like it has started a
| new line while being pasted into outlook. I am a little new to VBA so any
| suggestions welcome.
