Thanks for your email.

When you are running fundamental data etc. into Metastock, it will probably
be time series data, i.e., collected over a period of time. This site has
lots of interesting things to say about time series analysis besides
seasonality. The document runs about 38 pages to print out.

Re: DFT and FFT ... I saw a very comprehensive workbook over the weekend
dealing with Fast Fourier Transformations (which is the last section of this
document) etc. Lots of high powered financial analysis stuff is coming in
from C++.
