Owen,
Open you online layout, then save it as a template (File|Save
As|Template). Close the layout. If you do not already have that
future saved as a local file, create it now as a 1 minute local file in
a Metastock Data sub folder. (File|New Security|........etc). You will
need to browse to a local file since the New Security folder will be
pointing to the DataOnDemand cache. Close the chart. Open Downloader
and select Tools|Merge. For Source Folder, browse to DataOnDemand, then
highlight the 1 minute future that you want to merge. For Destination
Folder, browse to the folder that the local future is in, then highlight
it. If you want, you can click on Options and select Keep Destination,
but it's not necessary for this. Merge and close DownLoader, then open
that local 1 minute local chart with Metastock (File|New Chart). Right
click on a blank area of the chart and select Apply Template. Browse to
the template of your online layout and double click. A local version of
your online layout should open. Save it as a layout (File|New Layout).
No need to save the 1 minute chart that the template was applied to.

I'm fairly certain that you can go offline and still use Metastock
Professional online mode. Try right clicking the File Server (in system
tray) and choose Close. Then close the Data Server and Data Manager,
then log off your ISP.
