Template question

Simple question, big problem:

I wish to look at my charts both ways, with a weekly chart on the left side, and a daily chart right. Therefore, I created a template.

However, when opening a security with the template option, both charts are displayed on a daily basis. Is my idea so unusual that it is not possible with Metastock 7.01?
