Did you go thru these steps to create the template
1.Open new chart of security daily.Apply all indicators
2.Open new chart weekly. Apply all indicators.
3.Arrange side to side
4.Create new layout with these 2 charts.
5.Once layout is created  and with layout still open click on save as
template and name your template.
This should save the layout as a template. I just did it in 7.01 and it
works okay.
