I sent my problem to Equis Support and they responded with this work-around:
"Try going into chart window properties and putting a check mark in the
SHOW CHART TITLE BAR and SHOW INNER WINDOW TITLE BAR boxes and click on
OK. See if you can do it then."
This does seem to work OK.
