The limitation comes from the fact that the LCD panel is 1024x768 (in
digital mode), and that the matrox board then insist that my 21" runs
in the same resolution. This is apparently a limitation in Win2000
(according to matrox) that does not exist in Win98. Matrox say they
will not fix the problem and their latest drivers makes no attempt at
supporting different resolutions on different monitors.
