<DIV><FONT size=2>Seems to me that it is not available, since MSK on startup
cannot find it.</FONT><FONT size=2><FONT size=2></DIV>
<DIV></FONT>
<DIV><FONT size=2>In MSK-lango: N.A. (not available).</FONT></DIV>
<DIV>So MSK on startup has instructions to go out and look for a specialist
"full MAPI" compliant mailer, which they</DIV>
<DIV>have preset as to be Outlook. So there is a call going out to a Outlook
program dll (itselves or a presence of</DIV>
<DIV>a particular dll Registry-setting, either for MAPI or OUTLOOK)</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Since that it will be available should you have Outlook set as the default
mailer, then it is serious, but not a major bug.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Since it is also a new feature, then it is also difficult for non
v7x-users to comment further. Eg,</DIV>
<DIV>it could be a programmers' bug, for all I know(see call above), or an
untested (in different environments) programmed task.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Therefore will leave this up to Lynn+EquisSupport to come up with a fix to
comply to Lynn's Equis-suggestions</DIV>
<DIV>"for the presence of the uncheck control availablity" that was written
in her reply mail (below).</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Seems too, that she has got the right instructions, and MSK a
serious bug.</DIV>
<DIV>(It is a feature that's not been fully tested, so they will thank you
later for reporting the bug).</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>A question that remains tho is, do you indeed have <on any of these
4 machines> Outlook installed at all ?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>- If not, are all new user's liable, in the same manner you described
previously, to receive that message and</DIV>
<DIV> not being able to further continue the MSK start up?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>- If you do have, is Outlook than mastering+controling that "full Mapi"
that Lynn speaks off? So disabling</DIV>
<DIV> a Registry setting would do the job?</DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>I only 'throw this in' as an example, eg as to how to get

<DIV><FONT size=2>(this is common procedure throughout pc

<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT
size=2>-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Basicaly, when Running MSK with an EMPTY Startup
window and clicking the on WorkMenu available</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Tools|Options... Function, </FONT><FONT size=2>than on the
Option window's Chart Options TAB both the Show ALL Chart Title
Bars</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>and Show ALL Chart Toolbars </FONT><FONT size=2>controls
are</FONT> <FONT size=2>inactive(greyed), this since
an underlaying object(eg a chart)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>is not active(Open).</DIV></FONT>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Now Open a Chart/Layout and than go back to Tools|Options
and the Chart Options TAB, and</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>notice that now </FONT><FONT size=2>the SACTB and SALCB
controls are activated, and you are now also able
to check</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>or uncheck these controls.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Now relating the above working theory to the
below mentioned (in MSK v70-Pro newly present)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2><FONT color=#0000ff>Allow e-mail alerts box
</FONT></FONT><FONT size=2>(=control) than at least an underlaying
object(Chart/Layout) </FONT><FONT size=2>too will have</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>to be active(Open). And then when Chart/Layout is
active(Open), the control to be activated as well,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>giving you the option to uncheck control (Turn it
OFF).</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Cumbersome? Yep! Programmers could have tested this
upfront. However, it is again one other</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>addition to the many FAQ's </FONT><FONT size=2>set of
questions on MetaStock issue's that aren't explained
anywhere,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>and computerwise are logic, but when you
think of it is unlogic </FONT><FONT size=2>in daily program
usage.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Therefore, Equis Programmers, for the program's standard
factory settings (on installation of program)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>have </FONT><FONT size=2>this Allow Email
Alerts control STANDARD turned OFF.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2> </DIV></FONT>
