If a trade has gone against you it is too late.
Only on expiration day, you can confirm if an option-trade has gone against you,
not any sooner. And if its a stock-trade....................then just hold on to it, it is then
an expense that one has to fourge out to make profits (elsewhere).
A common business rule.
