I did not receive a confirming return email from the Equis
ListServ after I sent this post. I am therefore resending.
I regret any inconvenience if you already received the first
post.
Daniel.

All of the following are free:
There is a web site devoted to ListServ's. They host hundreds of
them. This is the URL for stocks:
http://www.onelist.com/dir/Business/Investing/Stocks_and_Bonds
You may need to become a member to reach this URL. I don't know.
There is a ListServ for the Omega Research line of charting
products. To subscribe, send an e-mail to
omega-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx
with the word "subscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject
line.
To send to the list:
omega-list@xxxxxxxxxx
This URL is for forums which are business related. They are not
email Lists but are probably good sources of info. You must join
Delphi before you may access any info:
http://www.delphi.com/dir-app/search/main.asp?cat=3
This forum seems to be the most active:
http://www.delphi.com/stockgeneration/start
You may also want to join a live chat room where people will post
their trades right when they make them. The best one is
http://www.daytraders.org/
This is a daytrader's room but I'm sure they will welcome a
short-term trader. This room could be the biggest. On an
average day, they have about 650 people during trading hours.
Beware, the operators/hosts for the room are very strict during
trading hours and will boot you if you don't follow their rules.
I suggest you read their FAQ before entering the room. You will
need IRC software. MIRC is the best and costs $20.
There are thousands of places on the 'Net you can find investment
information now. It really comes down to the quality and
expertise of the members. The MetaStock ListServ is pretty
good. If you find any other good places for investment
information on the 'Net please let me know. Although, I'm
already suffering from information explosionitis. ;^)
