Off Pro97 to Pro2000 Upgrade for $8?? Isn't that a typo?
If one was to (here, localy) Upgrade from Off97 to Off2000, the nice sum of :
- €175 (U$175) is minimaly charged for the basic Standard Edition(upgrade only)
- €375 (U$175) is minimaly charged for the basic PRO Edition(full program)
and
- €375 (U$375) is minimaly charged for the business Standard Edition(upgrade only)
- €575 (U$575) is minimaly charged for the business PRO Edition(full program)
-Daniel's buy is than Top ranked
("buying MS Office Pro 97 last year on EBAY for a total of $75 (shipping included) and
through MicroSoft to upgrade to Pro 2K for $8)".
-Guy's buy is than second best
("buying Office 2000 Professional at eBay for about $130.00" (and obviously was
already in the possesion of OfficePro97)).
-Joe's suggestion than fits somewhere in the (lower?) middle halve ranking
("To try a used software store or web site" (obtaining the Off97-Standard Edition and
than to Upgrade to Off2000 Pro or Standard, basic or business, from there onwards)).
-The "locals" than lists the lowest-bottom-bleeders-rank (S..t).
So remainder is to end this mail with the inivetible questions for you guys:
1. Daniel, what was that Microsoft $8 website, eg can you please explain more+in detail?
2. Joe, what 2nd-hand site/store suggestions can you please make?

Ton Maas
