I'm running MS Office Pro 2000 on my Windows 98 (original) and it runs fine. I
believe the differences between Pro 97 and Pro 2K are 'Net and VBA
enhancements. I haven't had the suite that long and I don't know it that well.
The only reason why I purchased it was because I wanted to use the OLE2.0 in
Excel for MetaStock. Since Jan. '97, I used Corel Office Pro 7. I still have
both suites on my system. I purchased MS Office Pro 97 last year on EBAY for a
total of $75 (shipping included). Through MicroSoft, I was able to upgrade to
Pro 2K for $8 (hehe).
