Daniel,

Doing some cross-checking between ver. 6.5 and ver. 7.0 manuals.  In
ver. 6.5 page 353 illustration, there is now a check-box above the
Statistics section marked "Use results from last exploration", and the
illustration on p. 361 which had just a Print button now also has
Inspect, Open chart, Sort, and Save List buttons.  So the short answer
is Yes, you can save the results of Explorations for subsequent
Explorations.
