To those who wrote about how to use it for their own trading uses, replace
the countries with sectors associated with the sectors that you trade. Look
at Gitanshu's "Heat Map" to get other ideas. Some might even want to use the
Fidelity funds as assets.

Sorry about the misleading info about the protected modules. Those were
other XL add-ins and not A1Global <Duh>.
All of the VBA code is available, i.e., go to "program" sheet and right
click any of the buttons on the sheet, i.e., "Markowitz Optimization" ...
from the menu click on "view code" and it will take you directly to the VBA
code for the button, etc.. That's an easy way to familiarize yourself with
what's going on in the workbook.
Print out the report sheet for the "names" so that you can keep everything
straight during any "re-arrangement".
The report sheet for the formulas used is enormous because of the
"fill-down" trivial variations.
There's one link missing "A1Startmarco.xls".
==================
I don't know what the random walk formulas are in Metastock, other posters
have described them as bad math. But I don't know exactly what they meant by
that, wrong formulas or wrong variation of the formulas?
The RW high and RW low is probably the same as the formula given on page 24
of the OT systems book. The equis site for formulas has the Random Walk
Index etc. They only mention the Michael Poulos article's in the Sept 92
issue of TASC but there is also the Jan 92 issue to look at also.
Maybe Ton has some information in his wonderful filing system.
Best regards
Walter
