Hello,
I am using MetaStock and QP Virtual. In MetaStock, I am getting
a new error after I have downloaded and updated my QP data. This
error started only recently. I have already downloaded and
installed qp_meta.exe
The error is:
"MetaStock for Windows
Duplicate securities in folder
Merge duplicate securities?
[YES] [NO]"

When I click "NO", there are no securities in the folder. If I go
to a different QPV folder, I can get the list of securities. In
order to access the securities in the folder, I must start QP
Virtual Setup, remove the folder, replace it, and then rebuild
the QPV folders.

This is the LST file I use for the QPV folder I am having trouble
with:
http://www.ixpres.com/horizon/danmartinez/indexes.lst

This particular folder only has indexes. I don't know if it has
something to do with accessing these particular tickers and
placing them in a MetaStock Layout prior to the QP
download/update or if QP is simply having trouble updating these
indexes. Could someone tell me if placing a symbol in a MS
Layout modifies the data, EMaster, or Master files for the
symbol?

Daniel.
