Sorry, I'm afraid your are confusing different problems. The symptoms
provided by Lionel are same as mines. My Quote Plus build is 26 Aug 1999
and was said Year2000 compliant (QP Virtual and Metastock Output).
Believe me, Metastock wouldn't chart any Year2000 price record at the
correct date if the record was written by an old version of Quote Plus : it
would 1900 in charting and open directory dialog. Let me suggest that the
most probable explanation is the Year2000 upgrade of Quote Plus does handle
correctly .dat files, however NOT master files.
This one is just a cosmetic problem anyway. The REAL PROBLEM is that the
QP auto Metastock updater does return fatal errors when not crashing => OOS
(technically crashed) databases.
Anyway, Gary is aware and a better place is Quote Plus Onelist e-mail list.
