I had an account there. I was happy with the speed of fills, but I have
heard from people who weren't. I believe that most of these people were not
using the system most effectively and things may have changed. In those
cases where a fill took more than 60 seconds, the commission was
electronically refunded immediately. As a newbie, I entered numerous orders
where they could have screwed me bigtime and I never felt like I got screwed
once. I closed my account because their system is extremely difficult to
enter short orders on and at the time, they did not allow stop-orders on
NYSE issues. No complaints other than those two.

Subject: Datek
Hi,
I am looking for an electronic broker over the US stock market. I have
notice of Datek: price for a trade ($ 9 up to 5,000) seems good and they
also offer real time quotes for free. I am interested to know opinions
coming from traders about the service quality before I open an account to
them.
What about orders execution, getting back the money etc. Everything is
good? Any Trouble?
Any advise, opinion or suggestion would be greately appreciated.
Thanx a lot in advance.
Marco
