I've had no personal experience with Merrill Lynch's Tech fund, but can vouch
for T. Rowe Price's and Scudder Tech. funds. Price's is a pure no-load: no
front-end, back-end no 12b1 fee; Scudder's Tech fund has no front-end load,
but does impose a 1% redemption fee, if your redeem before 12 months.
I couldn't find a listing for the ML tech fund in the Wall St. Journal. There
was, however, a global tech fund.
