The word "upgrade" is not quite appropriate here. You can get your not Y2K ready version of
Metastock REPLACED (!) for MS 6.5x having paid just $10 (without getting manuals, yep).
But ... you do not become a REGISTERED user of new version of MS (I've read it someplace
at Equis site, and just talked by phone with an Equis representative who acknowledged it). It
means the following as I (and the representative ) see it. Although they would give MS 6.5x
for free for MS 5.11 I am currently using , they reserve the right to treat me in future as a MS
5.11 user (!), so it will make difference for me in price to pay if I decide sometime later to
upgrade to MS 7.x, 8.x, ... . So don't consider it as the first, ever known case of a free lunch
<g>.
