If you can find the TA libraries for VB then go for it. There are 
libraries in C advertised in the trading rags, and you may be able to 
either call the functions from VB as DLLs, or write DLLs to call them. 
The point re Yorick, Perl, etc. is that a tool that manipulates vectors 
and matrices easily makes it easier to write your own libraries. Perl is 
just more productive per line of code than C or VB.
