What software packages (TA, Charting, Statistic) do you know of that are capable
to scan for Trend Channel breaches ?
(+ short opinion+results please).

1. Technical Analyse Scanner (TAS) - U$249, is capable to do so, is a DOS program
and perhaps like many other DOS programs, TAS might cease to exist after Y2K,
website says that a -not free- upgrade will become available
"in the June/July 1999 timeframe" (though on todays visit this was not available yet).

2. TechniFilterPlus vX.x (details?)

See also my plea-mail to Equis' Support/Suggestion Dep.'s (eg to have this
component/feature build-in MetaStock) and that is printed below.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello Equis Support/Suggestions,

>From working with the several in MetaStock available Channel-buttons and
the Trendline-button, have got a very urging question for your policymakers and
programmers/developers.

Some other charting-software packages provide their users with (sometimes
also the option to custom build) indicators/formulas that Scan for Channel-Lines
cross-overs, eg the Price moving out of a (current) Trend-Channel;
valid highly profitable Trend-Channel Breaks.

At the moment these Channel Line cross-over Scanning-features are not availbale
in MetaStock (eg not in the Explorer or Expert Advisor or System Tester).

Will this feature be considdered in the next MetaStock-program version or will we,
your old + new users worldwide, have to purge or perhaps eventualy have to switch
over to one of these other software package(s) that are well capable do to so, eg
because this very vital and highly profitable TA-component/feature is available in their
packages and missing out in MetaStock?
