You can also use the MS File Library.  I've purchased it, but haven't used
it as yet.  Actually I can't even find it on my desk. <G>

It provides you with DLLs to use with VB or C.

I've written several programs in C++ that use data in the Metastock
database. All you need to do is convert the Metastock data to an ASCII file
using Downloader. Then you can open this ASCII file in your C/C++ program
and use it any way you want to. I like to evaluate systems in C/C++ that
show promise when screened on the Metastock System Tester. You can
incorperate features in your system using C/C++ that can't be done using
Metastock, but it takes longer to write a system in C/C++ than in Metastock.
