Below are the results of our weekly "Guess the Dow" sentiment
survey. The survey was taken from 7/19 through 7/26 on the
Lowrisk.com web site.

Number of participants: 321

30 day outlook:

36% bullish, 40% last week
39% bearish, 29% last week
26% neutral, 31% last week

(percentages may not sum to 100 due to rounding)

Median guess for the DJIA closing value on Friday, 7/30: 10,880 (it
was 11,205 last week). More complete sentiment data is available at:

Bearish sentiment jumped 10% to 39% last week. Bullish sentiment
dropped 4% to 36%. The neutral camp dropped 5% to 26%. This is one
of those weeks in which the sentiment data is a tough read. The
bulls had a tough time last week, so the increase in bearishness is
not surprising. However, the bearish levels are not extreme
yet...certainly not at levels that would suggest an imminent rally.

Please stop by and put in your opinion on the market...the more
participation we get, the better our sentiment data. Please stop by
to take part in this weeks survey at:

best regards,
Jeff Walker
