Below are the results of our weekly "Guess the Dow" sentiment
survey. The survey was taken from 7/5 through 7/11 on the
Lowrisk.com web site.

Number of participants: 293

30 day outlook:

33% bullish, 42% last week
39% bearish, 27% last week
27% neutral, 31% last week

(percentages may not sum to 100 due to rounding)

Median guess for the DJIA closing value on Friday, 6/16: 11,157 (it
was 10,789 last week). More complete sentiment data is available at:

Bullish sentiment fell 9% to 33% while bearish sentiment rose 12% to
39%. The neutral camp dropped 4% to end at 27%. Last week was a
narrow range week with a slightly bullish bias. The drop in
bullishness (and increase in bearishness) is somewhat encouraging
for the bulls, but the sentiment picture is tough to read after such
a quiet week.

It looks like summer doldrums has struck out Guess the Dow contest.
Participation is dropping. Please stop by and put in your
guess...the more guesses we get, the better our sentiment data.
Please stop by to take part in this weeks survey at:

best regards,
Jeff Walker
