I've had no experience with the JMA, but people speak highly of Mark Jurik's
tools on the Omega Research list.  I have been drooling over his webite
myself, but he doesn't have a MetaStock-compatible version yet.  There is
supposed to be one later this year, though.

Apparently, to get an ideal smoothing, the JMA uses the same software logic
that guided missiles use to filter radar noise for course corrections.  What
interesting times we live in.
