After over a year the downloader problem with
traversing data subfolders to do the conversion
("update") was finally solved by a very smart tech
called Lynn at Equis.
For the Traverse destination subfolders to work
right, you need two things:
A) the latest (2/99) build of dlwin.exe
b) the source ASCII .txt file must be in exactly the
right form, preferably with a header for the fields.
For the period field I had "d" for daily.
Changing it to "D" made Downloader happy. But note
that any other small discrepancy from what Downloader
expects in the source ASCII .txt file could easily
cause failure.
